Two old men groan after a ball. A dachshund begs for the last morsel of fish sandwich. The exhausted gardener leans on his shovel - Johanna Beil's figures are humorous, poetic snapshots of everyday life. "These small, unspectacular moments" inspire Beil to her petrified, simply fired tales of unglazed earthenware. And because they can never die, they are still alive today....
