Series with a difference

Traces of mud, turning grooves, dents, dings, finger marks: Armin Skirde attaches importance to such small irregularities in each of his pieces and thus reinterprets the concept of the ceramic series. Aesthetics in form and surface and a high degree of functionality characterise his utilitarian ceramics in a matt earthy colour. The outline-like line fragments on the surface, skilfully executed with a loose hand, are unmistakable.
