Easy from the hand 

Silke Wellmeier brings out the material characteristics of porcelain in the best possible way: by hand she builds fragile-looking, pure white and translucent vessels. In doing so, the manual processing gives the tall vases and wide bowls their characteristic surface, because seemingly every touch of the fingers has left a trace on the soft porcelain before they were immortalized by the hardening firing in the kiln.
