Lush floral motifs in cheerful bright colours are the centre of attraction of Inge Burgerhoudt's ceramics. Fancy, relief-like decorations of the vessels turned on the potter's wheel are elaborately scratched out in the sgraffito technique or, just as elaborately, engraved in the old Korean Mishima technique. The striking, clear patterns clearly point to the influence of the fashion and design training Inge Burgerhoudt received before turning to ceramics to combine both passions.
