Jaimun Kim is a ceramic artist from South Korea who has been working intensively with the raku firing technique for over 20 years. In his many years of creative work, Kim has continuously developed the raku technique in order to explore new aesthetic and material possibilities. Kim's black and white works are characterized by a special depth and tranquillity that arise from the combination of controlled craftsmanship and the unpredictable character of raku firing.
