Between detail and simplicity

Margot Thyssen uses up to 6 differently colored layers of porcelain to create her hand-flattering, usually minimally asymmetrical unique pieces of tableware. Layer by layer, she pours the colored slip into plaster molds, which gives her footless bowls, jugs and cups without handles a purist, unmistakable look - ergonomically perfected, in a bright, broad color palette and light as a feather.
