The Master Builder

Nico Schipp comes from a family with a tradition of building tiled stoves. However, his ceramic work extends far beyond this, ranging from architectural ceramics such as tables and seating to various art installations and cast porcelain. The focus of his work, however, is on free-form vessels and, in some cases, large-scale vessel objects made from a light-fired stoneware clay.
