Colorful

Her ceramic works thrive on color. They are color cast into form. Both planned and spontaneous, most of the images emerge directly during the creative process. A plaster slab or mold serves as a base for the colored porcelain, from which vessels and objects emerge, to which Uschmann responds anew with color. The question always arises: How long does the balance between form and color last? When does it tip—when does color override form?
