Folded, assembled, cut? Atsushi Kitahara's architectural porcelain objects give the illusion of fragile works of paper art. His utility ceramics made in plaster moulding technique - stackable storage jars and cups - also play with material imitations: Colored porcelain loops look like functional rubber straps. The product designer from Japan contrasts the restrained porcelain white with glazes in contrasting primary colours. This is a joy!
