art and bric-a-brac

Harm van der Zeeuw combines iron, screws, old fuses, porcelain, clay, iron oxides and more to create original, quirky objects with what he calls an "industrial and vintage look". There is, for example, the teapot on wheels with a modified engine block, oil pipe and tap. Or, in a strategic alliance, bird and dog: knights on wheels, stuck in old oil cans modeled on clay tanks on wheels, armed with spark plugs as lances, but protected by helmets whose delicate gold tips ennoble them as heroes.
